During this year’s “Jesus Loves Toronto” event I participated in both the English and Chinese streams. I have to say that I had a wonderful time sharing Christ’s gospel on the street with different people, using both English and Mandarin! I was quite nervous about trying street preaching for the first time. But by God’s grace, and with the prayers of my team, during my last day I was able to preach the gospel on the street to all those who passed by. I felt the Holy Spirit’s pleasure and His power at work among the people who were slowing down their pace to hear more of the gospel presentation.
Additionally, I benefited greatly from the training that was offered by the facilitators. In particular I appreciated learning more about Islam, Judaism, and different cult groups that are important to be aware of. Lastly, I was trained on how to use the Evangecube! In the short time since Jesus Loves Toronto I have already used this tool to share the gospel with other friends as well. Praise God! And thank you, Toronto Chinese Short Term Mission Training Centre!
